Pay Range: Targeted salary of $42,500/year, based on education and experience.

Benefits Eligible: Yes

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (may include some weekends)

Travel: May be required

Position Introduction:

Join the Division of Access & Opportunity as the First-Generation Student Success Initiatives Specialist and play a key role in shaping programs, events, and partnerships that support first-generation students at OU. This position leads efforts to foster belonging, strengthen student success, and connect students and families with meaningful resources across the university. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, collaborative professional who is passionate about advocacy, student support, and building a strong first-generation community at OU.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 years of experience in project coordination, program planning, or related area
