Pay Range: Targeted salary: $15.86 hourly w/additional $0.50/hour shift differential based on compressed work schedule

Work Schedule: 

Panama schedule pattern, 7:00pm - 7:30am,12-hour shifts

The schedule follows a Panama rotation: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, and 3 days off. This pattern repeats every 28 days.

EXAMPLE:
-Week 1: OFF Monday/Tuesday, WORKING Wednesday/Thursday, OFF Friday/Saturday/Sunday
-Week 2: WORKING: Monday/Tuesday, OFF: Wednesday/Thursday, WORKING: Friday/Saturday/Sunday
-Following weeks repeating 1 and 2

Position Introduction

Facilities Management is hiring a Lead Custodian. This role will support the Athletics Supervisor by performing routine cleaning in offices and public areas, as well as assisting with training staff, assigning and inspecting work, and promoting accountability and strong work standards within the team.

This position is a 12-hour shift schedule and includes a shift differential of an additional $0.50 per hour. If an employee transfers from this 12-hour shift to another custodial team, the additional $0.50 per hour will no longer apply.

Required Education and Experience

  • 6 months custodial or housekeeping experience.

Required Certifications and Licenses

  • Valid Oklahoma Driver's License in order to drive University vehicles or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire date.
