Position Introduction:
The Lead Custodian/Housekeeper independently delivers comprehensive custodial and housekeeping services for campus facilities while training, supervising, and supporting a team of custodians or housekeepers. This position is responsible for ensuring consistent cleanliness standards through the safe and effective use of a variety of chemicals, cleaning appliances, tools, and equipment. Duties require demonstrated competence, appropriate prior training, and strict adherence to established safety and operational procedures. The role also requires the ability to accurately read, understand, and follow written instructions and materials, as well as apply basic math and computer skills in the performance of job responsibilities.
