Pay Range: Targeted hourly pay up to $29.04, depending on experience.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Position Introduction:

The University of Oklahoma is seeking a Paint Shop Supervisor to lead a team responsible for maintaining and enhancing campus facilities. The Paint Shop oversees painting, texturing, wall finishing, glass maintenance, window blinds, flooring applications, and basic campus signage. In this key leadership role, you will provide direct crew supervision, schedule and assign work orders, conduct job site inspections, oversee material specifications and budgets, and ensure compliance with safety standards. You will also play a critical role in maintaining high trade standards, reducing project backlogs, improving response times, and supporting the University's commitment to a safe and attractive campus environment. Required Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 72 months experience as a Journeyman level painter, including 24 months of the 72 months experience as a supervisor.

Required Certifications and Licenses:

  • Trade school certification       
  • Valid Oklahoma Driver's License in order to drive University vehicles or ability to obtain within 30 days from hire date
