Pay Range: Targeted salary of up to $107,265 based on upon experience

Benefits Eligible: Yes

Work Schedule: Rotating Shift Schedule; Typical schedule: 5:00 PM–1:00 AM; occasional shifts may run 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.

Travel: Not required

Position Introduction:

The Poison Information Pharmacist Specialist provides real-time clinical consultation and guidance for toxic exposures and medication-related emergencies through the Oklahoma Poison Center. This position supports the poison center's highest call-volume consultation hours and plays a key role in patient safety, public health education, and experiential training of pharmacy students. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop advanced clinical expertise in toxicology practice while working within a collaborative academic environment.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD  
  • No experience required.

Required Certifications and Licenses:

  • Licensed Pharmacist by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy or obtain licensure within 90 days of hire date. 
  • Oklahoma Preceptor's License by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy or obtain within 12 months of hire date.
