Pay Range: Targeted hourly pay up to $18.27, depending on qualifications.

Benefits Eligible: Yes

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Travel: Not required

Position Introduction:

The University of Oklahoma Department of Neurosurgery is looking to hire a research technician to work alongside Neurosurgery faculty and perform research assistance on existing departmental projects. These duties will include: supporting translational brain tumor research; collaboration with faculty and staff working in fields of neuro-oncology, tumor biology, genomics, and spatial biology; assisting with general research activity and departmental projects; and other duties as needed. Required Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Biological Science, Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, Sociology, or other health related field. 
  • No experience required.

Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months equivalent experience in lieu of the Bachelor's Degree.

  • None
