Pay Range: Salary dependent on qualifications and experience.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, but may be required to address issues during evenings or weekends to meet critical deadlines. Examples include: events, annual progress reports, and travel that occurs over the weekend.

Position Introduction:

The Oklahoma INBRE program is funded by a 5 year, $20M grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and is the second largest NIH grant in the state of Oklahoma. The program is funded to build biomedical research infrastructure throughout the state and is a multi-faceted effort involving two lead institutions (OUHSC and OMRF), 6 primary undergraduate institutions, and four community colleges. To ensure the continued success and operational integrity of this multi-faceted effort, we are seeking a Senior Program Administrator. This high-level leadership role requires a rare combination of expertise in federal grants policy, academic biomedical research, and professional career development. The ideal candidate will possess the advanced talent and skill set necessary to manage a large-scale, multi-institutional program and provide strategic oversight.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Master's degree.
  • 36 months related experience.

Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 72 months experience in lieu of the Master's degree for a total of 108 months related experience.
