Position Introduction:

The Department of Pediatrics section of the Neonatal intensive Care Unit (NICU) is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Clinical Research Coordinator to support innovative research initiatives within our Pediatric Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). In this pivotal role, you will lead and manage complex clinical studies focused on improving outcomes for critically ill newborns, partnering closely with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary research teams. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in clinical research operations, a strong understanding of regulatory and ethical standards, and a passion for pediatric and neonatal care. As a senior member of the research team, you will oversee study implementation from start-up through close-out, ensure protocol compliance, mentor junior staff, and serve as a key liaison between investigators, sponsors, and families. Your work will directly contribute to groundbreaking discoveries that shape the future of neonatal medicine. Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a health profession, physical science, biological science, or nursing 
  • 48 months of clinical practice, nursing, or research program coordination experience.

Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months clinical practice or research program coordinator experience in lieu of the Bachelor's Degree for a total of 96 months experience.

Required Certifications and Licenses:

One of the following licensures is required, based on the assigned area or department:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure through the Oklahoma Board of Nursing OR
  • Physician Assistant (PA) licensure through the Oklahoma Medical Board
