Pay Range: Targeted salary of up to $60,400 based on experience.

Benefits Eligible: Yes

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (may include some weekends)

Travel: Not required

Position Introduction:

We are seeking a highly motivated Staff Research Associate to support and advance laboratory research operations through hands-on scientific work, strategic coordination, and technical expertise. This role is responsible for conducting research activities, managing laboratory resources and workflows, maintaining accurate research records and data documentation, and assisting with the strategic planning and long-term organization of the lab. The ideal candidate will possess experience with chromatographic and mass spectrometric techniques, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Success in this position requires attention to detail, the ability to interpret and analyze complex data, and a collaborative approach to supporting research objectives and laboratory efficiency.

Required Education:

  • Master's Degree in a Biological Science, Physical Science, Chemistry, or related field.
  • 60 months research specialty experience.

Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept a Ph.D. plus 36 months experience as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow.

Required Certifications and Licenses:

None

Department Preferences:

12 months of supervisory experience.
