Student Assistant – Patient Services (Fall)

Pay Range: Targeted salary of $11.00 hourly, based on education and experience.

Benefits Eligible: No

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Travel: Not required

Position Introduction:

Students will work in Patient Services doing a variety of tasks:

  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct to appropriate department/personnel.
  • Scan and file confidential records.
  • Make deliveries to other campus departments as needed.
  • Assist in processing immunization records.
  • Screen incoming patients and direct to appropriate departments/waiting areas within the clinic.
  • Assist in off-site testing/vaccination clinics.
  • Daily cleaning of office and waiting areas.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma.
  • Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
  • Must attach Fall 2026 class schedule.
  • Must attach a Resume.
  • Must attach a Cover Letter.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
  • People oriented
  • Ability to work independently and with others
  • Attention to detail and accuracy

Required Certifications and Licenses:

None

  • Interest in the Medical Field
  • Healthcare major is preferred
