Pay Range: Targeted salary Up to $15.00/hour, based on experience.

Benefits Eligible: No

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, Standard/Fixed Schedule

Travel: Not required

Position Introduction:

Tutor for 1st year Occupational and Physical Therapy Students

  • Work up to 10 hours a week, tutoring students in program-related coursework.
  • Focus on helping students integrate the course and lab content such that they can understand the material and apply their knowledge during each particular course and future courses.
  • Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Must be currently enrolled in a combination of two terms as a student at the University of Oklahoma.
  • Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
  • Required GED or High School Diploma

Skills:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Outlook)
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Ability to build rapport with guests, students, faculty and staff
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to handle difficult situations in a calm and professional manner
