Pay Range: Targeted salary $10.00/hr, based on experience

Benefits Eligible: No

Work Schedule: Flexible with class schedule; occasional nights and weekends required

Travel: May be required

Position Introduction:

Performs a variety of tasks within the Marketing and Communications team for Housing and Food Services including:

  • Producing/editing marketing materials
  • Development and design of print and web advertising
  • Marketing promotions
  • Marketing research
  • Social media updates
  • Account management

Required Education and Experience:

  • Must be currently enrolled in a combination of two terms as a student at the University of Oklahoma.
  • Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.

Skills:

  • Must have excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Department Preferences:

  • Prefer strong communication, teamwork, organization and time management skills.
  • Prefer students majoring in any of the following fields:
    • Communication,
    • Journalism,
    • Business,
    • Graphic
    • Arts, etc.
  • Prefer students looking to gain experience in print, photography, visual communication, social media, account management, writing, videography and web design.
    Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
