Pay Range: Targeted salary of up to $15.00/hour, based on education and experience.

Benefits Eligible: No

Work Schedule:

  • An average of 5hrs/week, one hour per day
  • Preferably after the completion of that day’s labs.

Travel: Not required

Position Introduction:

  • The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences is hiring a “student lab assistant” on the Tulsa campus beginning this Fall.
  • Please review the details below and apply if interested.

Responsibilities:

  • Able to perform daily cleaning of all lab spaces, including but not limited to sanitizing surfaces, organizing, and maintaining the organization of lab supply closets, laundry management, and equipment.
  • Tracking supplies and relaying needed inventory to site coordinator
  • Report any faulty equipment, doors, or lighting to site coordinator
  • Other duties as required by lab professors or site coordinator

Required Education and Experience:

  • Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma.
  • Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.

Qualification:

  • OTD or DPT student, 3.5 or higher GPA
  • In good standing with the College
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to work with cleaning chemicals and move equipment safely when needed
  • Will be on campus for Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters
