Pay Range: Targeted Salary Range: Up to $43,700 per year

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday Standard / Fixed Schedule

Position Introduction:

This position coordinates logistical functions associated with planning, preparing, and delivering training and meetings for statewide and virtual events.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 6 months of experience in early childhood, elementary, or professional programs.

Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 54 months of related experience.

Department Preferences:

  • Communicates, coordinates, and collaborates regarding logistical processes with other NRCYS functional units, contracted providers/vendors, customers, and relevant University departments to support the state and national initiatives of the NRCYS.
  • Creates, updates, and manages various training schedule sheets in Excel, applying formulas, filters, and formatting to streamline workflow.
  • Plans and attends internal and external meetings, including but not limited to NRCYS Staff Meetings, Contract/Project Meetings, and University meetings as needed.
  • Communicates and collaborates with internal and external customers and trainers through meetings, telephone, and email correspondence.
  • Assists in gathering data, preparing reports, and processing invoices.
  • Writes reports, professional correspondence, and other project-related documents.
    Upholds, safeguards, and engages in activities to support the University's mission, NRCYS' vision, mission, and values.

Department Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 6-24 months of experience.

Department Preferred Skills and Proficiencies:

  • General office and customer service skills.
  • Ability to schedule and facilitate virtual events using Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
  • Proficient in Qualtrics, PowerPoint, and MailChimp.
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and managing and editing PDFs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Ability to complete tasks in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Must be able to multitask and be self-motivated.
  • Ability to work in stressful situations.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
