Position Introduction:

Postdoctoral Associate Position in Genomics

The Liang Group at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC) is looking for one postdoc to join us.

We pursue genomics research questions with the following research techniques:
Developing novel computational biology software, especially for single-cell and spatial genomics.
Creative and knowledge-driven data mining.
Developing high-throughput molecular biology and cell biology experiments.

We will offer lab members stable funding support and individualized mentorship tailored to career plans. We are committed to supporting lab members to stand out in the academic community and build their own networks through pursuing serious and high-quality research publications; actively applying to external fellowships and grants; and establishing collaborations with top-tier scientists.

Required Education and Experience:

  • To be accepted as a Postdoctoral Fellow you must either currently hold a completed doctoral degree in a relevant field or meet that requirement by the time of your official appointment start.
  • Any selected candidate must also be approved by our Graduate College.

Department Preferences:

  • Have or will obtain a Ph.D. degree in genetics, genomics, bioinformatics, or relevant fields;
  • Have experience in either bioinformatics or molecular biology, or both.
