Pay Range: Targeted salary of $12.00/hour, based on education and experience.

Benefits Eligible: No

Work Schedule: Position available August 24, 2026 through May 14, 2027. Schedule flexible around student's work schedule. 10-20 hours per week. Some evenings may be needed.

Travel: Not required

Position Introduction:

Duties Include:

  • Greeting and engaging teens
  • Assisting Pantry and Beacon Coordinator
  • Tutor high school students in literacy and math activities
  • Working with and around minors/teens so discretion is required
  • We have a strict privacy policy due to the circumstances and age of our clientele (minors) so selfies, videos, etc. are not allowed in or around our location.
  • Candidate will have to sign a confidentiality agreement

Required Education and Experience:

  • Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma.
  • Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.

Skills:

  • Basic computer skills
  • Organized, friendly, and have a positive attitude
  • No smoking/vaping/drinking/drugs/weapons on or near premises.
  • Familiar office equipment
  • Bilingual - Spanish preference

  • The dress code is casual, with a neat, clean appearance. Avoid clothing that is overly revealing or has offensive patterns or slogans.
  • Torso must be covered.
  • Closed-toed shoes must be worn at all times
