Pay Range: Targeted pay up to $16.00 per hour, based on experience.

Benefits Eligible: Yes

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, Standard/Fixed Schedule; May be required to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as business requires.

Travel: May be required

Position Introduction:

Position will serve as part of a team of haulers responsible for moving and adjusting furniture within designated spaces and/or moving furniture and appliances to and from the designated spaces on and near campus, and to/from/around the centralized warehouses. Will be responsible for lifting and moving items from vehicles, on and off of dollies, and around OU facilities. Will be responsible for repairing furniture. This position is also part of a small team of dedicated professionals responsible for the shipping/receiving, delivery, and storage of items in spaces overseen by OU Housing and Food Services, to include residence halls, offices, restaurants, and apartments.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 12 months of driving experience.

Required Certifications and Licenses:

  • Valid Oklahoma Driver's license in order to drive University vehicles or ability to obtain within 30 days from hire date

Department Preferences:

  • 3-6 months previous maintenance experience
  • Prefer forklift operator license
