Pay Range: Targeted Salary $15.86 per hour, depending on experience

Benefits Eligible: Yes

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Travel: Not required

Position Introduction:

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Inventory Associate to support the daily operations of its stockroom and materials management functions. This position plays a vital role in ensuring faculty, staff, researchers, and students have timely access to the supplies, equipment, and resources necessary to support teaching, research, and laboratory activities.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 24 months experience in inventory control and/or material management, procurement or closely related experience.

Required Certifications and Licenses:

  • Valid Oklahoma Driver's License in order to drive University vehicles or ability to obtain within 30 days from hire date.

Department Preferences:

  • Experience working in a laboratory, scientific, academic, or higher education environment.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and purchasing procedures.
  • Experience handling laboratory supplies, chemicals, or hazardous materials.
  • Familiarity with shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
