Position Introduction:

This entry-level position is suitable for candidates with undergraduate laboratory experience. Under supervision, the technician will assist with basic laboratory work, including sample preparation, sample analysis, and data organization. Responsibilities include maintaining a detailed and accurate laboratory notebook, following written protocols and supervisor instructions, and conducting basic literature reviews on assigned topics. The technician must work safely, complete all required institutional safety training, and follow laboratory and institutional policies. Strong attention to detail, organization, and willingness to learn are essential.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as an undergraduate student at the University of Oklahoma.
  • Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
