We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and strategic Lead Post-Award Grant Manager to play a critical role in supporting groundbreaking cancer research while ensuring the financial stewardship of complex sponsored programs.

As the Lead Post-Award Grant Manager, you will serve as a key partner to faculty, researchers, and leadership by overseeing the financial and administrative management of state, federal, and national grant-funded programs. In this highly visible role, you will provide expert guidance on post-award activities, monitor grant expenditures, reconcile accounts, coordinate payroll, and ensure compliance with sponsor and institutional requirements. You'll collaborate closely with Stephenson Cancer Center leadership, faculty investigators, and OU Health Sciences Center central offices to manage large-scale grants and research programs. Through financial analysis, account monitoring, reporting, and strategic recommendations, you'll help drive informed decision-making and maximize the impact of research funding.

What You'll Do

Lead and coordinate post-award grant administration for sponsored and grant-funded programs.

Perform account reconciliation, financial monitoring, and budget analysis.

Coordinate payroll and ensure financial transactions align with grant requirements.

Prepare and present financial reports for faculty, leadership, and stakeholders.

Analyze grant performance and provide recommendations to support effective program management.

Collaborate with OUHSC central offices to ensure compliance and successful grant administration.

Attend meetings, support program operations, and serve as a trusted resource on post-award matters.

Complete self-directed work with a strong sense of ownership while partnering effectively with team members and stakeholders to adapt to changing priorities and meet tight deadlines

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in related field.    
• 60 months related experience 

Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept additional 48 months experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree for a total of 108 months of experience. 

Required Certifications and Licenses:

Department Preferences:

• Advanced experience and strong skills with Microsoft Excel
• Experience in PeopleSoft and eCRT/ECC or similar effort tracking system.
