Pay Range: Targeted salary up to $24.18 per hour, based on experience

Benefits Eligible: Yes

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, standard schedule

Travel: May be required

Position Introduction:

Responsible for effectively promoting and marketing the museum and its mission. Responsible for identifying audiences, locally, regionally and nationally, and developing, implementing, and managing a strategic integrated communication plant to reach those audiences. Will represent the museum in a professional manner.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or related field.

Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree.

Department Preferences:

  • 18-36 months of marketing and communications experience.
  • Experience with digital resources, including website content management and design and social media.
  • Experience in SEO, GoggleAds, etc.
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Basic experience with AV and photography equipment.
  • Basic experience with video, including shooting, editing, and motion graphics.
  • Experience in the development and maintenance of training materials.
  • Experience with museums, cultural organizations or other non-profits.
