Pay Range: Targeted Salary up to $17.25 hourly, based on experience

Benefits Eligible: No

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (may include some weekends)

Position Introduction:

Couch Restaurants is open daily and is the largest dining hall on campus with unique all-you-care-to-eat concepts, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. This position provides administrative support to the leadership team of Couch Restaurants, with specific attention to verifying payroll, accurate record retention, and attendance data management.

Essential Duties Include but Are Not Limited To:

  • Assists with answering central phone line, recording messages and responding to callers with routine information.
  • Will verify payroll for both students and full-time staff, to include accurate use of PTO (scheduled and unscheduled leave), Comp Time, and banked holidays.
  • Will reply to requests for routine information with minimal instruction.
  • Distributes various forms of information to personnel.
  • Maintains office files that may be of confidential nature, to include positive discipline documents and memos.
  • Will transcribe attendance details from call log into timekeeper software as necessary.
  • Assists with planning, coordinating and expediting special activities and projects that require specialized training or creative thought.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 24 months office, clerical, or administrative experience.

Required Certifications and Licenses:

  • Valid driver's license may be required for work in certain areas for the performance of specific job duties. (Candidates assigned to locations requiring vehicle operation must possess and maintain an active, valid driver's license).

Department Preferences:

  • Previous professional experience verifying company payroll using automated software.
    Customer service experience.
