Pay Range: Targeted salary $12.00 per hour based on experience

Work Schedule: Flexible Schedule - 20 hours per

Position Introduction:

The Testing Center Proctor supports the secure and efficient administration of examinations in accordance with University of Oklahoma Testing Center (OUTC) policies and established testing protocols. This position provides direct support to students by checking examinees in and out, verifying identification, providing testing instructions, escorting students to testing areas, monitoring testing rooms, and maintaining a secure and professional testing environment. The Proctor is expected to provide courteous customer service, protect exam confidentiality and academic integrity, accurately follow established procedures, and promptly report any testing irregularities or concerns to Testing Center staff.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • One (1) years of customer service experience

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Knowledge of operating within a university culture and setting
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in basic office software and equipment.
  • Ability to work with and learn computer applications and testing protocols
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of privileged and sensitive information
  • Ability to maintain a professional, calm, and service-oriented demeanor during high-stress situations
  • Ability to communicate technical and complex information and data to varied audiences
