Pay Range: Targeted salary $24.18/hr, based on experience

Benefits Eligible: Yes

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Travel: Not required

Position Introduction:

At the University of Oklahoma, we change lives. The Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost seeks a Project Coordinator to support academic initiatives that help students succeed and enhance the University's educational mission. This position plays an important role in coordinating Winter Session operations, supporting enrollment and academic planning efforts, and collaborating with faculty, advisors, and campus partners. The ideal candidate is organized, enjoys working with people, and is excited about contributing to programs and initiatives that positively impact the student experience.

What You Will Do

  • Coordinate Winter Session operations, including course scheduling, faculty appointments, enrollment tracking, and related administrative processes.
  • Serve as a liaison among faculty, academic departments, advisors, and campus partners while maintaining communications, websites, reports, and other resources that support academic initiatives.
  • Monitor enrollment trends and waitlists, prepare reports, and assist with projects and operational activities that support student access, academic planning, and institutional goals.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 24 months of project management or related experience.

Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 72 months of related experience.

Department Preferences

  • Experience in higher education, such as academic advising, enrollment management, registrar services, student success, retention, or a related area.
  • Experience working with faculty, academic departments & sensitive information
  • Proven ability to plan & manage multiple processes simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
