Pay Range: Targeted Salary: $21.00 hourly, based on experience

Benefits Eligible: Yes

Work Schedule: Overnights 8:00 pm - 6:00 am (four 10-hour shifts) Must be able to work overnights, weekends, and holidays with the possibility of mandated overtime events.

Travel: Not required

Position Introduction:

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Security Officer (Assistant Supervisor) to support campus safety operations through hands-on leadership and advanced security responsibilities. In this role, you will supervise security personnel during assigned shifts, ensure compliance with policies, and coordinate daily operations including patrol oversight, incident reporting, and emergency response. You will also play a key role in staff development by assigning duties, conducting evaluations, and supporting training programs. This position requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment while collaborating with law enforcement and emergency services. The Senior Security Officer also performs traffic and parking enforcement, building security, report suspicious or hazardous activity, and serves as a Campus Security Authority (CSA).

  • 6 months of security or public safety experience.

Required Certifications and Licenses:

None

Department Preferences:

  • Previous security experience
  • CPR and first aid certifications
  • CLEET certification
  • Bilingual
