Pay Range: Targeted salary up to $50,300 annually, commensurate with experience

Position Introduction:

Join a growing clinical research team at the University of Oklahoma Health Campus and contribute to innovative studies that advance patient care and scientific discovery. As a Sr Staff Research Assistant within the Department of Neurology, you will play an important role in supporting clinical trials and research initiatives that help transform research findings into meaningful outcomes for patients and communities. This position works closely with investigators, research staff, and patients to coordinate study activities, identify and engage potential research participants, collect and manage clinical data, and support research publications and grant efforts. The role also contributes to data analysis, patient assessments, and the presentation of research findings, helping ensure the success and continued growth of the department's research program. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about advancing healthcare through research. Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Biological Science, Chemistry, Physical Science, or related field.
  • 24 months research laboratory experience.  

Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months equivalent experience in the aforementioned fields in lieu of the Bachelor's Degree, for a total of 72 months combined research assistant/technician experience.  

Department Preferences:

  • Previous clinical research experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with patient consents.
