Pay Range: Target Salary: $15.00 hourly, based on experience

Benefits Eligible: Yes

Work Schedule: Varies but will include working home football game days and position is essential/may be required to work during campus closures and inclement weather.

Travel: Not required

Position Introduction:

This position serves as a first line assistant supervisor responsible for preparation, production and/or serving of food items for Quiznos. Will work to hold restaurant employees to all best practices. Determines work priorities and assigns work to food service workers and students, while also cooking, cleaning, serving and completing necessary administrative responsibilities. Will complete other duties as assigned.

***Normally, employees on a 5-hour shift receive a free meal. Uniforms are provided at no cost, but must be maintained by the employee.***

  • As essential personnel you may be required to work during University closings and inclement weather.
  • Nights and weekends may apply for any operations especially those operating 24/7. 
  • Hepatitis A Vaccine required if hired or annual testing.
  • Cleveland County Food Handlers Card required.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED or graduate of culinary school.
  • 12 months of restaurant/customer service experience.

Required Certifications and Licenses:

  • Ability to obtain a Food Handlers License.

Department Preferences:

  • ServSafe Certification 12 months of restaurant kitchen/cooking supervisory experience.
