Pay Range: Targeted salary to $50,300 annually, based on experience

Benefits Eligible: Yes

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Travel: May be required

Position Introduction:

The College of Nursing is seeking a highly organized, student-centered professional who is passionate about helping students succeed and creating exceptional educational experiences. This position plays a vital role in supporting students throughout their academic journey, from prospective student engagement and recruitment through graduation and program completion. Working within a collaborative and fast-paced environment, the successful candidate will contribute to initiatives that enhance student success, strengthen engagement, and promote a culture of support, belonging, and academic excellence.

As a key member of the student services team, this position serves as an important resource for current and prospective students by helping connect them with the information, programs, and services needed to achieve their educational goals. The role combines student support, program coordination, communication, event management, and administrative operations to ensure a seamless and positive experience for students across all nursing programs. Through strategic outreach and relationship-building, this individual will help foster meaningful connections between students, faculty, staff, and community partners. The ideal candidate is an energetic professional who thrives on creating engaging experiences, solving problems, and supporting diverse student populations. This position offers the opportunity to design and coordinate student-focused programs, contribute to recruitment and retention efforts, develop communication and marketing initiatives, and support activities that promote student engagement and success. The successful candidate will also utilize data, technology, and best practices to help inform decision-making and continuously improve services and programs. This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a student-first approach. The individual selected for this position will collaborate with offices across the university, serve as a trusted point of contact for students and stakeholders, and help advance the College of Nursing's mission of preparing future healthcare professionals through high-quality educational experiences and comprehensive student support.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 12 months in student programming, student services, or closely related experience.

Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 60 months experience

Department Preferences:

  • 24 months in a higher education setting.
  • Experience with student programming, student services, or closely related experience.
  • Experience with event planning/management Experience with student information systems.
  • Experience with student communication.
  • Ability to engage in student recruitment and represent the institution to prospective students.
