Position Introduction:

The Department of Biochemistry & Physiology is seeking a Staff Scientist to lead laboratory operations and advanced research initiatives under the direction of Principal Investigator Dr. Blaine Mooers. This position is designed for an experienced scientist capable of managing a research laboratory. The role encompasses the full spectrum of scientific leadership, from developing strategic lab goals and pursuing sponsored funding to supervising and training laboratory personnel. The successful candidate will independently drive research projects, ensure adherence to safety regulations, and compile complex data for publication in.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Ph.D. or M.D.
  • 36 months Postdoctoral Research Fellow experience.
