Pay Range: Targeted salary: $18.00 hourly, based on experience

Benefits Eligible: Yes

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. Some overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays may be required

Travel: Not required

Position Introduction:

The Storm Water Technician will ensure all operations and equipment are in good, safe working order by performing regular inspections, maintenance, and repair related equipment and systems.

Duties:

  • Performs assembly and modification under direction of Utility Maintenance Mechanic (UMM), using hand and power
    tools.
  • Assists with troubleshooting and making repairs to mechanical systems.
  • Troubleshoots simplified electrical panels, pumps, valves, and piping systems.
  • Reads gas, electric, and water meters as needed.
  • Assists with ordering supplies and machine parts as needed.
  • Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.
  • Use of vac-truck and hand tools to clean and repair water collections systems.
  • Identify and document location of water collection systems and areas of repair.
  • Assist with repairs, installs, troubleshooting of the water, sewer, and natural gas distribution and collection systems.

  • Valid Driver's License.
