This position is for employment beginning in the Fall 2026 semester. Training will begin immediately upon hire.
Using a variety of teaching and motivational techniques, this position will create a positive exercise experience. This position is a professional who teaches, leads, and motivates groups through intentionally designed exercise classes.
They plan effective, exercise science-based group sessions for different fitness levels. They also possess a wealth of motivational and leadership techniques that help their classes achieve fitness goals. Instructors know the human body, the science of exercise, and how to inspire, challenge, and motivate change in the lives of the people they lead.

Must be able to train all ages and special populations
Must have the ability to obtain a certification accredited through the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) within 6 months or obtain certification in an approved LesMills format within 6 months
Required Certifications and Licenses:

Department Preferences:
Group Fitness Instructors currently certified through a NCCA accredited organization such as such as NETA, ACE, AFAA, ACSM, or NSCA
LesMills certification, particularly BodyPump or Ceremony Hyrox
