Pay Range: Targeted salary of $10.00-$12.00 per hour, based on experience

Benefits Eligible: No

Work Schedule: Flexible Hours within M-F, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Travel: Not required

Position Introduction:

The Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences is seeking Student Assistants to provide support for the Dean's Office.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Organize and input data
  • Copy, scan, and upload documents
  • Efficiently and accurately complete projects by the due date
  • Learn and follow confidentiality regulations
  • General office support
  • Other related duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

  • Must be currently enrolled in as a student in a combination of two terms at the University of Oklahoma.
  • Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to maintain academic progress while managing a flexible work schedule
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Highly motivated, organized, timely, welcoming, and familiar with the OU campus and resources
  • Flexible to adapt in various situations and be able to think quickly on their feet

Department Preferences:

  • Must be comfortable working with the public
  • Prefer six or more months of clerical experience in an office environment
