Pay Range: Targeted salary $12.00/hr, based on experience.

Benefits Eligible: No

Work Schedule: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm Monday - Friday. Some overtime, including nights, weekends and holidays may be required.

Travel: May be required

Position Introduction:

Assist full time staff with make-ready turnover of resident spaces. Will perform a variety of duties involving general facilities maintenance. Work hours are between 7:30 A.M. - 4:00 P.M., M-F, with the ability to work some weekends depending on workload of the Housing Maintenance shop. Shift schedule may be coordinated with school schedule but must be approved by the Housing Maintenance Managers.

Required Education and Experience:

Must be currently enrolled in as a student in a combination of two terms at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status

  • Performs basic maintenance duties that may include inspecting residential spaces, painting, changing air filters, creating and hanging signage, replacing light bulbs, locking/unlocking resident spaces, staging materials/work carts for projects and other duties as assigned.
  • May assist Shop Supervisor with logging, pricing and stocking materials in the Housing Maintenance shop.
  • Cleans the work area.
  • Completes required forms and logs.
  • May perform light tasks of a craft trade and may use small hand tools and power equipment.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.
