Pay Range: Targeted salary of $9.00/hour, based on education and experience.

Benefits Eligible: No

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, must work 20 hours a week on campus

Travel: Not required

Position Introduction:

The School of Library and Information Studies is looking for an engaged and creative individual to help support our academic mission. This on-campus position provides part-time support of daily operations which typically includes: serving as the first point of contact to the School welcoming visitors in-person and answering phones, assisting with design of promotional materials and social media posts, providing support to digitization of records, and other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma.
  • Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.

Required Certifications and Licenses:

None

Department Preferences:

  • Previous customer service experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to follow detailed instructions and procedures independently
  • Maintain a regular weekly schedule
