Pay Range: Targeted salary: $20.67 hourly, based on experience

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., may include some weekends

Position Introduction

The Office of Admissions & Recruitment (OAR) makes connections and creates experiences with the next generation of Sooners by supporting domestic and international freshman, transfer, and concurrent students throughout the application and decision process. Our team operates from Norman and across the state, nation, and world, partnering with faculty, staff, parents, counselors, and communities to provide guidance and resources to prospective students. Our goal is to build a vibrant OU community by recruiting the most academically qualified students with a variety of educational, service, involvement, and community experiences. The Tour Coordinator plays a key role in delivering exceptional campus visit experiences at University of Oklahoma by supporting the planning, coordination, and daily execution of campus tours, group experiences, other visit experiences. This position is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment and is passionate about creating welcoming and seamless experiences for prospective students and their families. Serving as a central point of coordination for tour logistics, communication, and visitor engagement, the Tour Coordinator ensures that each interaction reflects the care, efficiency, and spirit of the OU community.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree.

Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of equivalent experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
