Position Introduction:

A student academic tutor will be asked and expected to tutor student-athletes in various courses. All tutoring will take place in the McClendon Center for Intercollegiate Athletics and will range based on student-athlete need and tutor availability. Required Education and Experience:

• Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma.
• Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
• Must have earned a B or higher in the specific course or have been awarded a degree in that area

Skills:

• Must be capable of tutoring the courses specified
• Must be able to demonstrate ability to effectively communicate course material while engaging with our student-athletes in a positive manner
• Must be willing and able to communicate and build relationships with various groups of students
• Must be willing and able to gain and maintain working knowledge of university, SEC, and NCAA rules and regulations
• Must be willing and able to adhere to standards of conduct for Athletics Academics Tutorial Staff
