Pay Range: Targeted pay up to $18.27 hourly, depending on experience.

Benefits Eligible: Yes

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Travel: Not required

Position Introduction:

The University of Oklahoma is seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Work Control Specialist to support Facilities Management operations and serve as a primary point of contact for campus service requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer phones and Webex calls, assist walk-in customers, and provide campus information.
  • Create and manage work orders in the AiM Maintenance Management System. 
  • Dispatch maintenance personnel and troubleshoot urgent service issues.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and Facilities Management staff.
  • Respond to service request, billing, and work order inquiries. 
  • Assist with monthly billing, reporting, and account reconciliations.
  • Coordinate special event support and maintain service request records.
  • Manage key check-outs and assist with lost and found operations.
  • Perform administrative, clerical, and customer service duties as needed.

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 12 months experience in customer service in an office environment.
